Panoply Publishing sets out to accomplish two very important goals in today’s ever-changing publishing landscape:

(1) Publish quality books that positively impact their readers.

(2) Pay our authors up to 70 percent of net profits from their perfectbound (paperback) books and 85% of net profits from their ebooks.

We do this by vetting the books that come through our doors based largely on the merit of the writing, and asking each author applicant to answer this question:

In 100 words or less, how will your book change the world for the better?

Not every book will be a best-seller, but important books with small audiences still deserve to be published. So we will work with each author, as needed, to help them develop a platform through which to sell their books. And each author retains the full rights to their titles, meaning they can pursue international rights, video and movie rights, etc. Panoply Publishing gives its authors an indie publishing experience, coupled with traditional distribution and an experienced editorial and production team.

Panoply Publishing also offers an online bookstore with a tracking system that gives its authors up-to-date information about their buyers, including contact information (on the condition of a signed NO SPAMMING contract). So you not only know when you’ve made a sale – you also know who bought your book!

All Panoply Publishing authors are eligible for a 33 percent discount on specific marketing services. Depending on your subject and its inherent popularity, marketing service fees may be waived.

Panoply Publishing offers two levels of publishing packages, as well as a la carte services:

Get Me to the Bookstore Package

Get Me to the Bookstore Package ($1999) Your manuscript is vetted for content and writing skill – and it is deemed largely “good to go.” Very little to no editing is needed and you have a cover concept in mind. Few books will qualify for this package, but if we reject you for this level, we will explain why so you have the opportunity to make appropriate changes to your manuscript.

  • Custom interior design for up to 80,000 words
  • High-end custom cover design, based on your concept
  • eBook conversion and upload to 127 e-retailers, including Kindle, Nook, iTunes, and Kobo
  • Traditional distribution to the trade through Ingram Publisher Services
  • Proofreading of your final manuscript
  • ISBN, barcode, filing your copyright, and obtaining your Library of Congress control number
  • Fulfillment of all orders on short-run printed books (1,000 books, max – author or customer pays shipping)
  • Support and management of title metadata
  • Ongoing project management of your title for the lifespan of your book
  • Support for getting your books into bookstores, libraries, and other trade outlets

Full Stop Package

Full Stop Package ($5,999)Your manuscript is vetted for content and writing skill – and it is then turned over to the project management team which will edit the manuscript, design a custom cover, and format a custom interior page design for your book.

  • Professional editing or your manuscript, up to 100,000 words
  • Custom interior design for up to 100,000 words
  • High-end custom cover design
  • Proofreading of your final manuscript
  • 50 printed paperback copies of your book
  • eBook conversion and upload to 127 e-retailers, including Kindle, Nook, iTunes, and Kobo
  • Traditional distribution to the trade through Ingram Publisher Services
  • ISBN, barcode, filing your copyright, and obtaining your Library of Congress control number
  • Warehousing of short-run printed books (for a nominal fee)
  • Fulfillment of all orders on short-run printed books (1,000 books, max – author or customer pays shipping)

About Us

If you are a writer, Laura Orsini, founder and creative director of Panoply Publishing, is probably a lot like you. She’s been writing since she could hold a pen. She has a love of fonts, the English language, great stories, and books that teach others how to do things by shortening the learning curve. More than anything, she has a desire to help authors succeed.

Laura has been working with international authors to help them write, publish, and market great books for more than 20 years. While she feels that most authors are better positioned if they publish their own books, many do not want to undertake the myriad steps to get their books into print and out into the world. Panoply Publishing is for those authors.
